Want to do your part?
Help us help people in Geneva.
Are you a refugee living in the Geneva area who has an interest in technology and web development? Our world is becoming more and more digital and that makes computer programming and web development skills useful in many job sectors. Our requirements for joining the course are:
- Basic digital skills (eg. using Word, Internet, File Systems etc.)
- Commitment to attending the course until graduation*.
- Willing to work from home (approx. 8 hours a week)
- Working knowledge of French.
If you fulfill all requirements, please send us a short motivational statement about why you want to join our course at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will interview you for the next course we are launching. *We reserve the right to exclude participants from the courses in case of repeated absence.
Are you interested in helping out and volunteering your time, either as a teacher or volunteer? Teachers need to have a computer programming background and able to give 2 hours of their time a week. For the other volunteers, we are always open to everyone that wants to help. The experience is incredibly rewarding and we have a very social team! If you would like to join our team, please contact us at email@example.com with a short description of your background and how you would like to get involved.
We are also always looking for laptops, USB keys, projectors or other supplies to ensure our classes are well equipped and our students have the most fulfilling educational experience. If you have hardware to donate, please either drop it off at the Impact Hub Geneva, located at Rue Fendt 1, 1201 Geneva, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you would like to support our project financially, please check out our Partners page.
