Developing hard skills and finding a job is crucial. It allows refugees to earn a steady source of income, build a new life and become productive members of society.
Computer programming courses for refugees.
Coding and digital skills are becoming more and more demanded in every sector of the economy and Switzerland alone is expected to face a deficit of 24,000 IT workers by 2024.
Our classes provide our students with a laptop, have a strong focus on independent learning and are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evening at the Impact Hub. To ensure our students have a knowledge of the professional and soft skills important in the workplace, we also offer professional workshops that focus on CV development, office etiquette, and formal writing.
While we cannot guarantee an internship at the end of the course, we do leverage our network of employers and continue to support our students once they have graduated.
While our classes have been a success till now, to truly ensure our students are ready for the job market we need to make them more intense, regular and curriculum based. If you want to help us achieve this goal, please check out our crowdfunding campaign or our Partners page.
